You can do the theory exam if you are 16 years or older

The theory certificate is needed when you want take an exam. It is advised to do the theory exam a few weeks before the practical exam. This is partly because the theory certificate is valid for one year. The test will take about one hour.

How is the exam structured?

On the exam you will get 65 questions. Of these questions you should have 47 good. You may enter 18 wrong answer. This is divided into the following arrangement. A part of the exam will be built up with 25 questions, there for you need 12 right answers to pass that part. The other part you need 35 good answers from 40 questions.
